Context is King: Why We Built a Unified Geo & IP Intelligence API
Building location-aware applications has historically been a trade-off between cost and complexity. Developers usually face a binary choice: pay enterprise rates for robust data, or stitch together a patchwork of unstable free APIs to get basic functionality.

2. Deep IP Intelligence
Knowing a user's country is standard; knowing their network context is actionable. We provide 50+ datapoints per IP address to help you understand who is behind the request, not just where they are.
- Network Context: Identify the Connection Type (cellular, residential, hosting).
- Ownership: See the Company or ISP behind the IP address.
- Location: Precise coordinate and region matching.
3. Smart Request Rating (Security)
Raw data is useful, but actionable advice is better. We include a calculated Request Rating system that analyzes the IP context to suggest immediate actions for your application security logic:
- Legitimate: Allow the request to proceed normally.
- Suspicious: Trigger a challenge (e.g., reCAPTCHA).
- High Risk: Block the request entirely.
This allows you to automate traffic filtering without writing complex heuristic rules yourself.
